Intro to Auto Repair
Overview
This hands-on course covers the basics of fixing your vehicle on your own - from buying clothing and tools to mastering knowledge and techniques. You do not need any prior experience working on vehicles to attend, but you should understand basic auto anatomy and functionality (if not, consider taking our Auto Literacy for Life class first). By the end of this course, you will be able to confidently research, plan, and execute common maintenance and repairs such as filters, oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pads/rotors. You will also receive a training on the makerspace's auto lift, which will approve you for using it as a member.
