Who is this bootcamp for?

This training is ideal for aspiring Crime Scene Investigators, recent graduates in criminal justice or forensic science, career changers interested in forensics, and anyone curious about how crime scenes are processed. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and get hands-on.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

Accepted Answer

No. All forensic tools, materials, and safety gear are provided for you. You’re welcome to bring a notebook or camera for personal reference, but everything needed for the exercises will be supplied on site. However, there are some supplies we ask you to bring: a hair spray can, abottle of water.

Will I get a certificate after the bootcamp?

Accepted Answer

Yes! At the end of the day, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion that documents your training. This can be added to your resume or portfolio to demonstrate your hands-on forensic skills to potential employers.

What will I actually learn and do?

You’ll practice real investigative skills, including crime scene photography, fingerprint processing, impression casting, and trace evidence collection. You’ll work on a staged crime scene from start to finish, applying the techniques you learn throughout the day.

To ensure every participant gets personal instruction and maximum hands-on time, we limit enrollment to 20 students. This small group format allows you to work closely with instructors and get real-time feedback.
