Guest Speaker #1: Amanda Shilling

(Focus = building a brand on social)

Amanda is the Bodacious Brander + CEO of MINT Brand Marketing. Her career is a wildly woven ball of branding and marketing strategy, writing, graphic design, event planning, media buying, public relations and beyond.

She's also had the privilege of working within and alongside organizations in an operational and development capacity, while gaining experience in human resources and management. This means Amanda understands the value of a positive culture, fiscal responsibility and producing results.

She's a branding bullet that has propelled businesses to the top in their industry. Amanda has spearheaded efforts to put startups on the map, teamed up with authors to launch best-selling books and helped marketing departments go from order takers to a rockstar resource for her clients.

Outside of work, She's a proud mom + stepmom, wife, family-first kind of gal, as well as a traveler, foodie + lake girl.

Guest Speaker #2: Andrew Young

(Focus = organic content on social)

Andrew Young is a Fargo, North Dakota native, where he resides with his husband,

Jeremy, and their daughter, Mari. Andrew’s journey has taken him from the heart of

Fargo, to New York City, Los Angeles and across the ocean to New Zealand. His time

in New York was marked by a pivotal position with ABC Network News and valuable

experience at World News with Diane Sawyer. In Los Angeles, Andrew’s creativity

shone as he produced for the Academy of Country Music Awards Show, interviewing

and working with artists Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Lionel Richie and more.

In 2012, Andrew’s career took another pivotal turn as he joined Scheels, a sporting

goods retailer, to spearhead the launch of an internal media production department.

After a year of cultural and professional growth in New Zealand, where he played

a key role in organizing TEDxQueenstown, Andrew returned to Fargo to channel

his passion for creativity and telling stories by founding Abovo, a forward-thinking

marketing and creative design agency.

Passionate about entrepreneurship, Andrew and his husband also own, manage,

design and maintain a portfolio of short-term rental properties. This venture not only

showcases their value of community and welcoming spaces but also reflects their

love for hospitality and design. Beyond his professional endeavors, Andrew cherishes

moments spent with his family, by a Minnesota lake, a good costume party, relishes

travel and never misses a chance to support his husband’s choir programs at Northern

Cass Public School. His appointment to the Board of Directors for Starion Bank, a

$1.9B institution headquartered in North Dakota, further illustrates his commitment

to both professional growth and community engagement.

Guest Speaker #3: Whitney Jensen

(Focus = paid social content)

Whitney Jensen is a graduate of Jamestown High School and the Minnesota State University Moorhead who has been leading digital marketing efforts for the entirety of her 10+ year career. Currently, Whitney oversees the team of digital marketing strategists at AdShark, a marketing agency in Downtown Fargo. Whitney and her team work diligently to provide digital marketing strategies to the 80+ clients who trust AdShark with their paid search and paid social work. When she's not driving strategic discussions to grow ROAS and lower customer acquisition costs, she's probably going on a walk with her dog, Gus, or listening to ASMR.
