About this event
In this session you’ll learn in a live demo how you can use Roslyn-based C# Source Generators to generate code in Visual Studio on-the-fly while you type.
C# Source Generators are executed as part of the compilation process, which means they can add generated code to the compilation. This opens many new ways how you generate boilerplate code on-the-fly.
Beside the basics about C# Source Generators, you will learn in this session also how the MvvmGen library was built. MvvmGen is a MVVM library that is built on top of C# Source Generators.
Our speaker for the event is Thomas Claudius Huber a software developer and Microsoft MVP for Windows Development. Living in Germany’s Black Forest with his wife and three daughters. In his spare time he likes playing football, guitar, working out, and especially learning new tricks on a skateboard.
