Online event

Overview

Learn how to create deeper connection at work, at home, or in your community using empathy and play, and meet likeminded community leaders.

Give yourself the gift of confident facilitation.

Whether you’re a community builder, team leader, or just someone who loves bringing people together. This one-hour workshop will teach you how to lead with empathy and connection using the Actually Curious conversation game.

You’ll learn how to host intentional gatherings, meetings, or workshops that help people feel seen and understood. Together, we’ll explore three facilitation styles you can use anywhere — at work, at home, or in your community — plus get practical tips for creating safe and meaningful spaces for dialogue.

After the session, you’re invited to stay for an optional 30-minute community networking session in breakout rooms — a chance to meet other purpose-driven facilitators, share reflections, and practice what you’ve learned.

Every participant will also receive a downloadable Facilitator Resource PDF with two bonus exercises and slides from the session.

What you'll learn

  • How to cultivate safe, inclusive spaces for conversation
  • Facilitator etiquette and group management tips
  • How to use Actually Curious decks to deepen connection in your work or community
  • Three ways to use Actually Curious for gathering and connection
  • How to strengthen empathy as a facilitation skill

Who is it for?

This training is for anyone looking to bring people together more meaningfully — in personal, professional, or community spaces.

Perfect for:

  • Facilitators, coaches, and therapists
  • Community builders, event hosts, and educators
  • HR, DEI, and People leaders
  • Small business owners and creative teams
  • Families and friends who love intentional gatherings

Community Networking After the Workshop

The learning doesn’t stop at the one-hour mark.

After the main workshop, join an optional 30-minute networking session to connect with others in small breakout rooms.

We’ll share a prompt from the Actually Curious deck to guide conversation and reflection.

You’ll leave with new insights, new friends, and a little more empathy to bring into your next gathering.
