Strategies, resources and best practices to use virtually in WL class

October 8th from 5:00 to 7:30 pm

Two virtual workshops and round table.

5:00-5:50 pm WORKSHOP:

Enhancing the World Language classroom through Student Agency.

Enhancing the World Language classroom through Student Agency is to design the conditions that enable and equip students to develop and direct their own learning. Self-directed learning offers students both the responsibility and the flexibility to learn at their own pace, to exercise choice, and to elevate their voice. Learning experiences that are designed for student agency are empowering. Students know what to do and through supportive instruction and navigation determine both how and when to do it.
