About this event
So much feels out of control right now. Your creativity is the most important quality for you to explore and move forward without a map. In this workshop, we combine practices from art therapy with a reimagined approach to Jewish learning, so anyone can become wiser, stronger, and clearer on their path.
You'll discover an easy-to-learn and apply framework called the Jewish Studio Process. It's a powerful elixir: a soul-stirring technique of Jewish study, the power of your intention, and a process approach to art-making. It's a combination that'll move you forward spiritually and creatively. NOTE: No talent, art experience, or Jewish experience is required!
In this 2 hour workshop, you can expect:
- A process based approach to creativity that'll touch your soul
- To receive messages from your higher self
- An unlocked intuition
- Relaxation and/or increased energy
- To be mentally and spiritually stimulated
- An approach that can be applied to any creative work
Fees: $18 per person.
Meet the Facilitators:
Ann Bohrer, Creating Circle Facilitator. After an extended creative hiatus, Ann re-ignited her creative/expressive self via process painting workshops with Stewart Cubley and The Painting Experience, and found a spiritual and process art home in The Jewish Studio Project (JSP) . She attended the JSP winter immersive in 2019, and enrolled in the inaugural JSP Creative Facilitator Fellowship program. Ann lives in Los Angeles with her husband Ross Berman, a visual artist and JSP Facilitator. Ann and her family are long-time members of IKAR.
Ross Berman, Creating Circle Facilitator. An academically trained artist and illustrator, Ross has pursued process art making for almost 20 years. He has worked with Stewart Cubley, Pat B Allen, and others exploring this dynamic approach to unleashing creativity. He is in the first cohort of Creative Facilitators of the Jewish Studio Process, through the Jewish Studio Project. www.chailifegallery.com
