Tessa Richter, LCSW Rooted Consulting

Hello! I'm Tessa. I'm a mom of three, a wife, a fan of matcha, mountains, and yoga mats, and an LCSW (the kind of social worker who can provide therapy). I've also had my fair share of less-than-ideal pregnancy and postpartum experiences.

But most importantly, I love babies. I've been enthralled with newborns, infants, and toddlers since I could tote around baby dolls. They are miraculous little creatures and bring me so much joy. I studied child & family development in college in Missouri, then earned a master of social work (MSW) in Denver. I've worked in a variety of positions in the child welfare field over the past 15 years, including direct practice, program development, and state and national policy.

Through it all, my passion has been to help parents and their little ones create strong, healthy relationships full of delight. When I figured out how to bring attachment theory, child development, and parent support together by providing therapy to folks in one of the most challenging transitions of their life, all the puzzle pieces clicked together.

Alexi Neal, C-IAYT Soulfull Somatics

I’m Alexi Neal, a multi-disciplinary Somatic Healer and Mom to two tiny humans.

In over 13 years of supporting healing in the body and beyond, I have become a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, an Internationally Certified Yoga Therapist, a Reiki Master, and a continuous student of neuroscience, the nervous system, and human deveopment. I have specialized further in Prenatal Yoga, Yoga Therapy for the Pelvic Floor, Polyvagal Theory, Matrescence, Ayurveda, Postpartum Recovery and Trauma Informed Facilitation. My practice brings together modern research and ancient wisdom.

My own journey into Motherhood journey sparked the call work with mothers. For 5 years, I applied this knowledge to supporting trauma survivors in healing, integrating and building thriving lives through individual and group support. But when I became a mother, I faced my own reckoning with the dramatic life changes that occur through this portal. It’s a time that needs far more attention, preparation, and support than our culture believes. But when we provide that support, it is rich with creative, dynamic and evolutionary potential.
