The sessions will examine the text of the Sri Bhagavad Gītā in English and in Sanskrit. The Bhagavad Gītā is a sacred Hindu scripture composed as a dialogue between
Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna. Krishna offers profound spiritual guidance, addressing the nature of duty, the self, and the paths to liberation.
Across its 18 chapters, the Gītā skillfully weaves together key philosophical teachings:
- Karma Yoga: selfless action without attachment to results
- Jnana Yoga: the pursuit of knowledge and discernment
- Bhakti Yoga: loving devotion to the divine
- Dhyāna Yoga: disciplined meditation and inner focus
The Gītā stands as a timeless guide to living with purpose, balance, and spiritual insight.
