Want to learn more about common chemical exposures and how to avoid them to keep you and your family safe? Common chemicals addressed include BPA, phthalates, pesticides, and hormones. Practical tips are provided for limiting exposure to these chemicals including eating plant-based foods. Participants will participate in discussions, enjoy a cooking demonstration of 3 recipes that avoid environmental chemicals and cook along with the instructor if they would like.

What's the refund policy? Is my registration fee or ticket transferable? To manage food and materials purchases, we can only provide refunds up to seven (7) days prior to the beginning of the class. After that, there are no refunds. Thanks for your understanding. However, if you really can't make the class (we will miss you) you can transfer the registration to a friend you really like online up to 24 hours in advance.

Laurie Courage is a Certified Plant-Based Nutrition Educator and Health Coach and founder of Encouraging Greens Inc. She helps people on the brink of a health crisis restore their health and enjoy an energetic life for years to come by helping them understand what and how to eat, offering both personalized health and wellness coaching programs and group nutrition/cooking classes online, on Long Island NY, and more recently in Frederick, Maryland.

Laurie teaches a variety of cooking/nutrition classes online and in person in Frederick Maryland after many years teaching on Long Island. She offers a group coaching program online for those over 50 who are ready to take back control of their health and private 1:1 coaching as well.
