This workshop will demonstrate the process of creating a beautiful prayer mala. Malas are a tool used during meditation to aid in keeping your focus on your breath or mantra. You will experience the beauty of creating, wearing and meditating with a prayer mala. Come with an open heart to create your own mala, perfect for your personal use or as a special gift for someone dear to you. Instruction will include learning to tie the knot between each of the 108 beads as well as making the tassel.
All supplies to create your mala will be provided. Attendees can choose from a variety of pre-strung mala designs and have the choice of the guru bead and tassel that perfectly compliments your mala.
COST: $70.00 (inclusive of material costs and instruction during a 3-hour period)
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Sheila Ebbitt has been making mala creations since 2016 hosting many classes during this period. She is a Reiki Master and infuses great energy and intention into her instruction and creations. She is the owner of Hearten Creations, a local family business that has a mission to inspire others to learn about the healing powers of crystals.
