Iona

While Iona itself offers a tranquil pace, a great variety of events and things to do are found just across the river in Fort Myers and Cape Coral. The historic Fort Myers River District provides a hub for arts, culture, and nightlife. Meanwhile, Cape Coral presents a more relaxed scene with numerous bars and restaurants featuring live entertainment.

• The walkable Fort Myers River District comes alive during the monthly Art and Music Walks, which draw crowds to its galleries, theaters, and lively street scene.
• Major touring productions and national music acts take the stage at venues like the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall and The Ranch Concert Hall & Saloon.
• Cape Coral offers a more laid-back atmosphere with live music and dinner shows at Cape Cabaret or community gatherings like the annual Taste of the Cape festival.
