Brevard Ballet Youth Company is a nonprofit 501c(3) founded by Elena Shokhina, Academy Director of Brevard Ballet Academy.We provide aspiring ballet dancers a safe and supportive environment in which to develop physical strength, artistic expressiveness, and performance skills through a required class curriculum, performances, competitions, mentoring, and community outreach.Your support is sincerely appreciated and treasured, and we work diligently to stretch sponsorship dollars. Your patronage defrays costs for scholarships for young dancers, the staging and presentation of performances, artistic direction, and countless other costs associated with our productions. By contributing to Brevard Ballet Youth Company, you will be center stage and every performance and in the heart of every dancer.Your generosity and support also benefits other local nonprofit organizations, particularly. Those invested in helping children and/or handicapped individuals, as well as groups affiliated with cultural arts, long-term care facilities, and group homes. We currently have partnerships with Candlelighters of Brevard, Promise in Brevard, and Nana’s House.
