Organizer of Supporting Your Colleagues/Team
The Lifelines Scotland resources will be of help to all those in the emergency services and those who volunteer as emergency responders, as well as those who support them. Lifelines is a Scotland-wide NHS project, hosted by the Rivers Centre in NHS Lothian, and is working with government, statutory, voluntary, and charitable partners to support the wellbeing of emergency service staff and volunteers. The project was originally set up in 2016 for volunteer emergency responders, but in 2020 Lifelines became a resource for the whole emergency service community in Scotland. The website has been designed specifically for emergency service staff and volunteers and there are sections for each service community on “Why I’m OK most of the time”, “When I might need some help”, “I’m worried about someone else” and “Information for friends, family, and supporters”. The site provides information and advice, access to learning resources, and signposting to further sources of support. The prospectus document on the “About us” page provides a good overview of the project and what it offers. The team is very happy to discuss details of the project info@lifelines.scot
