Founded in 1920, the Preservation Society of Charleston (PSC) is the oldest grassroots preservation organization in the country. The PSC serves as a strong advocacy leader for preserving Charleston’s distinctive character, quality of life, and diverse neighborhoods. We advocate alongside residents, elected officials, city staff, and project teams for preservation and planning that betters our city. The Preservation Society a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
