Organizer of 2nd Sunday Builders
At Rebuilders, we’re not following the old playbook—we’re creating a new one. Together. Our model centers on reclaimed materials, but it’s really about building smarter systems: less waste, more access, shared value. We connect the dots between people, places, skills, and stuff that too often gets overlooked. This is reuse as infrastructure. As economy. As community. We’re changing the script—from DIY to DIT. Because doing it together isn’t just more powerful—it’s more realistic, more sustainable, and honestly, way more fun. We know no one does this alone. We’re bridging gaps between trades and training, supply and need, intention and action. By reconnecting resources with the people who know what to do with them, we’re shifting what’s possible for our cities, our neighborhoods, and our future. Our events reflect that work in motion. Expect hands-on workshops, tool skill sessions, real-talk panels, behind-the-scenes tours, and meetups that bring people together across industries and interests. These are spaces to learn, share, build—and figure it out as we go.We’re still in process. Still shaping this vision. But one thing’s clear: there’s power in coming together around what’s already here—and rebuilding from the ground up.
