The Open Knowledge Foundation
The OKFN is a community-focused NGO that promotes public knowledge and #opendata projects which deliver far-reaching societal benefits. The term ‘open knowledge’ refers to any piece of content, information or data that people are free to use, re-use and redistribute without any legal, technological or social restriction. We aim to help others develop open material as well as creating it ourselves.
