In 2017 the DOWNTOWN MEDIA CENTER MIAMI opened its doors as the first Film Center and co-business working space in Downtown Miami. Over 6000sq ft Flexible Creative spaces, Film Production office spaces, El Oro Theater Space / Stage, and Casting Spaces centrally located & easily accessible in Downtown Miami powered by FILMGATE MIAMI
FILMGATE INTERACTIVE FESTIVAL (fgi) (launched in 2012) known as the first festival in the USA to focus solely on interactive and immersive content.
Over the 9 years, FilmGate Interactive Festival has invited artists, digital studio creators, major tech representatives and tech media journalists who seek in experiencing and learning of new media within this new sector. FILMGATE INTERACTIVE FESTIVAL celebrates Augmented and Virtual Reality projects and their artists/ creative studios that are pioneering in their field thru story or thru functional experiential means.
During the festival week we engage in high caliber talks with the artists and the industry leaders to see where the pathways of immersive content is heading towards. FilmGate Interactive seeks to celebrate immersive works in augmented and virtual reality that makes the technology bend towards the graces of human enrichment. FilmGate accomplishes that through interactive screenings, exhibits, installations, creative labs, master classes, music, and live events and its OPEN TO THE PUBLIC scheduled events.
