Unaffordable prices for legal representation and consultations are some of the major obstacles that many undocumented youth face on the path to legal status, as well as keeping families together by avoiding deportation. UnLocal’s capacity to work against the norm and take on these cases for little to no cost makes us much more valuable as a nonprofit. We do not work for the immigrant community, we work with undocumented individuals in a collective effort to combat systemic injustice.
