SCREWS Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Tallahassee, Florida, committed to connecting communities with sustainable hardware store resources while supporting tradecraft education through mentorship, workshops, and the arts. Through its tool lending library, creative reuse programs, and hands-on learning opportunities, SCREWS empowers people to engage with tools and materials in ways that promote sustainability, creativity, and shared knowledge.

Its TradeCraft Collective workshop series explores the intersection of sustainability, creativity, and utility—offering public programs that inspire participation, reduce stigma around tool use, and celebrate the power of making. SCREWS offers accessible classes, creative installations, and inclusive outreach promoted across the Big Bend region.

By transforming salvaged materials into tools for education and expression, SCREWS fosters community resilience, uplifts underrepresented voices, and reimagines what’s possible with the resources already around us.
