Denise V. Estelle was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from Crenshaw High School, and soon attended California State University of Northridge. She continued her education at Windsor University receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree where she graduated with honors.
In 2001, she founded a program called, "Senior Circuit" which provided services to the Senior Citizens in her immediate area. She facilitated this program by providing them with transportation to and from the store, the doctor's office, the pharmacy, and the library.
In 2005, Ms. Estelle was the 3rd Division Marshall for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade in Los Angeles. This annual parade was telecasted around the nation. In 2009, she was the Queen of the Annual Kwanzaa Parade in Los Angeles, CA.
In 2009, Ms. Estelle founded the "Woolie Me" Natural Hair Expo & Conference, which was the first natural hair expo and conference for Los Angeles. Ms. Estelle is also the CEO of Estelle for Humanity, a 501(c)3 organization that produces events every year that educates and inspires! She is the creator of the "Honor Thy Father Awards Dinner", an annual event that takes place every Father's Day, honoring the unsung fathers and male mentors in the community. The HTF Awards Dinner has been covered by ABC Channel 7, CBS Channel 2, and various other local news programs. Going into its 18th year, the Honor Thy Father Awards has honored close to 200 men consisting of fathers, husbands, mentors, and role models.
Ms. Estelle is a charter member of the Miracle Mile Optimist Club in Los Angeles, and was installed in November of 2008 as an Ambassador for the Global Peace Federation. She has been acknowledged in several prominent newspapers throughout Southern California.
Ms. Estelle is a speaker and author of a new book due to be released in the Fall of 2020. Ms. Estelle has been listed in Who's Who in Black Los Angeles for 2009, 2010, and 2014, and has received over 100 commendations from the Mayor's Office, and from City, County, and State Officials.
Her belief is: "Power of the Community".
