Hoosier Solar is a different kind of solar developer. As an organization, we always work to include neighbors in the process, exceed state and local setbacks, preserve the landscape, and work closely with local leadership to make sure that our tax or economic development payments meet local needs. We aim to be true community partners in the Hoosier counties we work in rather than just investors. That includes ensuring the safety of residents by making sure firefighters and other first responders have the training necessary should a fire occur in a solar field.
