Cando is a place for gathering. A place where we come together for the valuable occasion of culture and art. 

It is a bee hive, and its outcome is sweet.

Cando is a place for being creative and beneficial. Its usefulness is for shining light on the core of the Iranian community falling far from the motherland and enhancing the quality of connecting with the borderless territory we call culture.

We, a group of artists, writers, and cultural figures in Toronto who, either by choice or by being forced, have become part of the cultural diversity of this land of a thousand nations invite you to join us.

We plan to have workshops on art and literature and to turn our hive into a place for launching newly published books and creative works. 

We wish to turn the world surrounding us into a slightly better one through creativity by taking the sting out of life so that our spirits may impart into life a touch of sweetness.

Together, we should be able and can do it all.
