About this event
Zuul is an Open Source Project Gating system (like a CI/CD system but more so). Zuul powers some of the largest Open Source development efforts and is used by a number of major enterprises (including BMW, T-Systems, Volvo and others) for their internal development.
Join James Blair, the original author of Zuul and one of the current project maintainers for this interactive training session focusing on getting started with Zuul. This is a two hour session and is limited to 4 participants for maximum interaction.
In the first hour, you will learn how to:
- Run Zuul with Docker containers
- Configure basic Zuul Pipelines
- Write Zuul Jobs
The second hour is an open agenda where we can dive deeper into subjects that interest attendees. Possible topics may include (but are not limited to):
- Integration with code review systems (Gerrit, GitHub, GitLab, Pagure)
- Integration with clouds (AWS, OpenStack, Azure, IBM)
- Kubernetes Integration
- Authentication/Authorization
- Deployment options
