October through May is typically the heart of respiratory virus season, so now is the time for child care staff to prepare and take preventive action. Join Austin Public Health (APH) on October 27, to hear a timely training on flu, RSV, and COVID-19, presented by Dr. Desmar Walkes, the APH Medical Director and Travis County Medical Authority, and APH Epidemiologist Lucky Lemieux. You will learn about how these illnesses impact children and how to keep children and staff healthy this respiratory virus season. You will also learn about the latest immunization recommendations and how APH will support programs experiencing an outbreak. Workforce Solutions Capital Area will offer CEUs to attendees.
