School Starts July, 29th, Tuesday, 2025. Enter the real estate career completely online with a live-stream real estate instructor. The last day of class is subject to change. There are no weekend classes. Classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-10 pm. The instructor will be available before and after each class for one-on-one help.

By attending and passing a class test, each student will be eligible to sit for the state exam in Georgia. The class offers advantages in both online and classroom settings. Students will be able to take the class from the comfort of their own homes while hearing live instruction without entering a classroom. To become licensed, the licensee would need an address in Georgia.

Before class begins, you will receive an email with instructions to join us through the online platform. Students should expect to use Google Classroom, Google Drive, and Zoom platforms. A desktop or large tablet is recommended for this course for the best student results and experience.

Each student should at all times during class expect to use a reliable internet connection with a camera for attendance. Students should treat the class as a normal learning environment such as dress, attendance, and studious conduct.

Final Testing will be announced during class at a brick-and-mortar Augusta facility. Proctored testing will be arranged for students outside of a 50-mile radius for in-person final testing. While students are unlikely to be charged, a fee may be associated with proctoring the test for students unavailable to appear in Augusta, GA.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Will there be class during Masters Week 2025?

A: No, there will be no classes from Friday, April 4th - Monday, April 14th.

Q: Is there an age requirement or education required?

A: Everyone must be17 to take the course and test and a GED is required to become licensed. A licensed salesperson will need to become 18 to become an active in the profession.

Q: How many students are in each class?

Each semester the class normally averages about 15 students.

Q: Will you accept a GI bill or military discounts?

A: Unfortunately, there is no tuition assistance for any student including our active duty and retired veterans directly offered.

Q: Can I make payments on the class?

A: It's possible. You may take advantage of Buy-Now-Pay-Later for tuition assistance. You would need a PayPal Account and inquire through PayPal. A soft credit check is needed and if approved, you may make a proposed 4 payments with those terms. A book would also need to be purchased separately.

Q: I was undecided about enrolling online or onsite, do you recommend one over the other?

A: The material is identical and it depends on your learning style. If your schedule does not allow you to attend, self-paced would be the best option. Would you learn from an instructor and lecture? This platform would be recommended for learning and replicating a classroom.

Q: Do I need to be local to attend the class?

No! Anyone anywhere may attend so long as they live in Georgia. We have students that have attended class from all over the country as long as you have an internet connection and a camera for class.

Q: Does this include the book? How much is a textbook?

A book is needed. Choices are available. Either a downloadable eBook is $55 available in one business day. Or, a paperback may be purchased for $55 plus shipping to your home address. Each are direct from the publisher. The instructor recommends an eBook. The first night a book is not required

Q: If the class is offered on Zoom, how will we take a test?

A: We will offer an in-person test to protect the integrity of the test at a facility in Augusta, GA If your address is not local, we will find a proctor close to you and work with that third party together. There are no "group projects" or "Book reports." Course work can be completed online.

Q: What is your passing rate?

A: Our state-test passing rate over the past year for the first-time test takers is 75% and for students who take the state exam more than once is 62%.

Q: What is the difficulty of class compared to other professions?

A: The course's verbal content is equivalent to a college entry-level class with high school-level math. Successful passing students commit one hour daily outside of class lectures until class ends.

Q: Will there be any weekends?

A: No, each of our class lectures is consistently Tues and Thurs. nights only.

Q: When is the latest I can enroll?

A: Anyone may join until the class fills or until the first night of class February 4th. Take advantage of our early enrollment incentives leading to the beginning of class.

Q: How is this different than going to other online classes?

This is an instructor-led course and will replicate a classroom. We will have a live lecture, video, audio, and other games with a textbook (purchased separately). The live lecture will enable students to ask and answer questions just like in a traditional classroom before, during, and after class.

Q: I may not be able to attend some classes. What is your makeup policy?

We have time within the semester dedicated to making up missed time. There is time built in for missed classes. However, after missing more than 8 hours of class time, you may be dismissed from class.

Q: If I cannot join this class, when will another class be offered?

A: We will offer another class in late August 2025. If you like to join that class you may subscribe or follow us on Eventbrite or visit our website century21jk.com/rentals.

Q: Do you issue the license?

A: No, after passing the class, there will be a state exam and the testing center may issue you your license or it will be mailed to you. The Georgia Real Estate Commission issues licenses for active licensees.

Q: I live outside of Georgia or expect to move. Is this a class for me to attain a license?

A: Yes! You must have a Georgia address to originate a Georgia license. If you intend to move, GA is a reciprocity state with other states (not all) and you may activate where you relocate to in the future. This is frequent among military spouses who look to maintain employment while moving.

Q: Do I need any selling experience?

A: No selling experience is needed from any other profession to take the class or become licensed in Georgia. There is also no apprenticeship required to attain a license.

Q: What do I need to attend class?

To participate fully, you'll need a reliable internet connection, a camera, and ideally, a desktop or large tablet with a separate keyboard. You'll also need to obtain the required course book. Finally, regular attendance in live-streamed sessions is key to success.
