Zig Day Osaka is a community-driven event dedicated to exploring and celebrating the Zig programming language and the people building with it. We believe in making Software You Can Love — software that’s clear, reliable, and built with care — and Zig embodies that philosophy through simplicity, performance, and intention.

Our goal is to bring together developers, makers, and newcomers alike to share projects, experiments, tools, and stories. Whether you write games, build systems tools, or are just curious about programming for the first time, you’re warmly welcome here. Expect a day full of lightning talks, live demos, Q&A sessions, and chances to connect and collaborate with systems programmers, creative coders, and beginners who want to learn together.

🌏 Language: English + Japanese friendly (presentations encouraged in English if possible)
🧩 Topics we love: game development, low-level programming, compilers, tools, creative coding, embedded systems, and open-source culture
💡 Spirit: collaborative, experimental, and open — everyone’s welcome.

日本語 Zig Day Osaka（ジグ・デイ大阪） は、プログラミング言語「Zig」と、それを使って創造する人々をテーマにしたコミュニティ主導のイベントです。 Zig が掲げる理念は 「Software You Can Love（愛せるソフトウェア）」。 シンプルで高性能、そして意図をもって設計されたソフトウェアを通して、開発をもっと楽しく、誇りを持てるものにするという想いです。
経験豊富な開発者はもちろん、プログラミング初心者や「システム系って何？」という方まで大歓迎！ プロジェクト紹介、ライトニングトーク、ライブデモ、質疑応答を通じて、知識と情熱を共有し、互いにつながり・協力して学び合いましょう。
