About this event

Get ready for a mesmerizing collision of rhythm, motion, and pure creative energy. YoYo Frequency pairs the collaborative DJ set of specially curated sound and synthscapes of Moxy Martinez with the gravity-defying yoyo artistry of Ohio's own Emmet Yeager for a performance that's part concert, part visual poetry.

Together, Moxy and Emmet create a spellbinding fusion of sound and movement — spinning, looping, and syncing every rhythm and beat into a perfectly choreographed yoyo performance concert of light, sound, and wonderment.

Moxy Martinez (They/Them/He/Him) is a self-taught DJ, producer, and synth composer who has been lighting up dance floors and art spaces across the globe since 2003. A mainstay of the Columbus music scene, Moxy's original compositions and live sets pulse with nostalgic tones, futuristic beats, and an irresistible groove that invites everyone into the moment.

Emmet Yeager is a lifelong yoyo enthusiast and performer whose precision and playfulness bring new meaning to the word "flow." When he's not roasting coffee or building Gundam models, he's blending his passions — music, art, and motion — into inventive yoyo performances that are as joyful as they are jaw-dropping.
