Fondation Botnar, PATH, Women Deliver and Partnership on Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (PMNCH) have formed an initial coalition that seeks to leverage artificial intelligence, digital and frontier technologies to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by 2030: “Fuelling a movement towards action & leaving no one behind”. This workshop will explore how youth (under 30 years) feel technology can and will change the face of UHC and the focus areas to prioritize to make progress.

The coalition has set up a workshop at Women Deliver to invite young people who are ready to act as change makers to accelerate the application of digital technology for Universal Health Coverage. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a select group of young leaders who will explore and discuss the initial results of the survey (“Tech4Health: what do young people think?”). There will also be a chance to shape young people’s calls to action for the High Level Meeting on UHC this September and decide how to influence agendas through youth-led action. We will discuss the role of a Youth Advisory Group on “Tech4UHC” to ensure greater youth engagement in all activities related to advocacy, communication and accountability for UHC 2030.
