Youth Intro to Improv 7-Week Class
Overview
Got a kid who loves the spotlight—or one who could use a little extra confidence to step into it? Improv at Stomping Ground Comedy is the perfect mix of fun, laughter, and growth.
In this seven-week course, students will focus on playing, being spontaneous, and saying “yes” to their creativity (instead of that little voice that whispers, “That’s too cringe!”). Along the way, they’ll learn to think on their feet, create bold characters, and build hilarious scenes together. And because improv is all about teamwork, they’ll practice cheering each other on and supporting even the silliest ideas.
The class wraps up with a student showcase on Saturday, February 28 at 4 pm, where friends and family can see what they’ve been working on. No experience necessary. Just bring your sense of humor!
✨ Bonus for parents: Research shows that improv also boosts social-emotional awareness, communication skills, adaptability, and helps ease anxiety...all while kids are having a blast.
