Your voice, your impact online session to explore and help shape the future
Overview
Your voice, your impact: online session to explore and help shape the future of social work in Scotland
The Scottish Social Work Partnership is leading a national conversation to shape the future of social work. Your voice – whether you’re a student, practitioner, or leader – is vital in building a profession that is valued, supported, and sustainable.
This online session will:
- outline national developments across social work
- explore the experiences, challenges and aspirations of attendees
- use discussion and feedback to shape the Scottish Social Work Partnership Strategic Plan (2026-29) and the National Social Work Agency corporate plan (2026)
Our engagement pack outlines our approach to the national conversation – SSWP-engagement-pack-National-developments-to-support-social-workers-for-web-Oct-2025.pdf Please read the engagement pack, if you have time. However, reading the pack is not essential to attend our sessions.
The Scottish Social Work Partnership brings together national organisations committed to strengthening social work in Scotland: Office of the Chief Social Work Adviser (Scottish Government), COSLA (local government), Social Work Scotland (local social work leaders). Together with the social work sector, we are creating a plan for social work, and need your input to ensure national plans for the next three years are grounding in local expertise.
