Music by Pete Kronowitt On Nov 23rd

If Steve Earle and Elvis Costello got pissed enough to write political tunes, they would sound like Pete Kronowitt songs. Pete writes songs with hooks, a dash of alt-country, a smidgen of something familiar yet new; catchy songs ranging from acoustic alternative pop and country to Indie with progressive lyrical phrasing but who likes being categorized? Pete founded Face the Music Collective, a guide for creative activists utilizing performances to inspire targeted individual action, one event at a time. With 5 albums to his credit, Pete Kronowitt combines performing and activism. Pete’s new album, Do Something Now, was released in September 2020.

Music by Mike Rufo On Nov 30th, Dec 7th and Dec 14th.

Mike Rufo's songs and poems arc across the waves of life. His music is gripping and eclectic, reflecting his impassioned engagement with the world. Mike's musical language builds upon powerful lyrics, soaring vocals, driving rhythms, and melodic riffs that explore emotional depths and transformation. He also mixes things up with a knack for the well-conceived parody, with a dash of political punch, like his popular singles Hit the Road, Trump! and Spyin' Eyes.

Comedy:

Mean Dave is a Californian comedian from the Bay Area with a rock and roll style for any occasion or function. He will be performng all four Tuesday nights. With a wild, intelligent approach to material about modern day life, Mean Dave has performed regularly at San Jose Improv, San Francisco Punchline, LA Comedy Store, Tommy T's in Pleasanton, and all kinds of shows and events all over.

Nov 23rd, Emily Catalano is a Los Angeles-based comedian originally from San Francisco who just made her late night stand-up debut on CONAN. Known for her sharp joke writing and veritable deadpan delivery, Emily is a regular at San Francisco’s Punch Line and Cobb’s Comedy Club as well as Los Angeles’ famed Largo Theater. She was selected by Time Out LA as one of 10 Comics to Watch in 2020. In 2019 Emily opened for Pete Holmes, Michelle Wolf, Sarah Silverman, Tig Notaro, Reggie Watts, and Patton Oswalt. She’s also super cool and isn’t awkward at parties or anything and totally knows how to pronounce ‘Merlot’ now.

Nov 30th, Dan St. Paul -After a seven-year stint of headlining San Francisco clubs in the comedy duo Murphy-St.Paul, Dan launched out on his own with a solo act that was to land him in the finals of the nation’s toughest comedy competition, The San Francisco International Stand-Up Comedy Competition. Soon after, Dan moved to Los Angeles and appeared on several episodes of “An Evening at the Improv”, plus numerous shows on VH-1, MTV, and Comedy Central. Since then, he has opened for such superstars as Jerry Seinfeld, Natalie Cole, Dwight Yoakum, Smokey Robinson, and Vince Gill. In a testament to the class of his act, Dan even opened for the San Francisco Symphony (“These guys are great! I knew them back when they were just a garage band.”) .

Dec 7th, Jeff Applebaum made his national TV debut on CBS as a comedian on the "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." He has also appeared on Comics Unleashed, America's Got Talent, and his Dry Bar Comedy special was just released! He's opened for and performed with comic legends Robert Klein, Mort Sahl, Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Elayne Boosler, and more.
