You Are Here & Jeff Ripple: Enduring Light Opening Reception

Join Wild Space Gallery for the opening of two concurrent exhibitions: You Are Here and Jeff Ripple: Enduring Light. The exhibitions offer contrasting artistic views of Florida's natural environment, juxtaposing differing aesthetic styles and practices.

You Are Here takes viewers on a journey across the 18-million-acre connected landscape, from the Everglades to the Alabama/Georgia state lines, through photography, maps and informational panels. Exhibit photographers include Laurie Meehan Elmer, William Freund of fStop Foundation, Alex Freeze, Paul Marcellini, David Moynahan, Tessa Skiles, Mac Stone, and Carlton Ward Jr. Jeff Ripple: Enduring Light presents Florida landscape paintings inspired by the Hudson River Valley School, among other 19th century American artists.

The evening features a Curators Walkthrough with Noel Smith from 5:00-5:30pm followed by Q&A and refreshments. Works from You Are Here will be available to purchase through a silent auction.
