Description:
Yoga is an ancient practice that harmonizes the body, breath, and mind. This series offers an accessible introduction to yoga techniques— including movement, breathwork, and meditation — designed especially for beginners or anyone seeking a deeper sense of rest and ease. The pace is slow and intentional, emphasizing the fundamentals of practice while encouraging you to find your own sense of comfort and stability. Each session is guided with a compassionate, personalized approach that meets you exactly where you are. You'll explore gentle movements, breathing exercises, and simple visualizations—practical tools you can carry with you and use anytime you need relief or grounding in daily life.
Both standing and lying positions will be included and modifications will be individualized for each student’s needs. This class is suitable for those new to the practice of Yoga, and for those with some physical limitations and/or in recovery.
All Theraputic Movement Classes are facilitated by an instructor with experience and specific training working with participants with chronic pain and conditions.
