Description:
This M2 series is a continuing progression of the Yoga techniques that are introduced in Osher’s Yoga to Restore (M1) class. This series focuses on relaxing and energizing the whole self, finding mobility and stability, without causing additional pain or distress. This series intends to facilitate self-regulation (or steady energy). This series includes slow-paced, gentle movements coordinated with breath, followed by a breathing practice and meditation. Standing, kneeling, and lying positions will be offered. Modifications will be available. This M2 series is suitable for those with some experience in practicing Yoga and for those comfortable moving on their own.
All Osher Movement Classes are facilitated by an instructor with experience and specific training working with participants with chronic pain and conditions.
This class is a part of our "M2" Suitability Code Category on our Movement Class Suitability Guide (see below).
M2 classes are suitable for those comfortable moving independently.
