Support your changing body and prepare for birth and parenthood with prenatal yoga. Some of the benefits of prenatal yoga include building physical and mental strength, flexibility and balance, improving posture, sleep and reducing stress. Yoga can help you feel empowered and confident throughout your pregnancy, labour and birth. You’ll also be creating a community of support. Classes include:
- Welcome circle with introductions and checking in
- Postures to build strength, flexibility, balance
- Pelvic floor exercises and awareness
- Positions and breathing exercises for birth, labour and beyond
- Space to connect with yourself and your baby
- Relaxation or guided meditation to close
Please check with your doctor if it is suitable for you to participate in prenatal yoga. Beginners welcome.
