About this event

Join us for Yoga at the Birdwing the FIRST and THIRD Sunday of every month and every SECOND Saturday!

Join us for rejuvenating yoga sessions amidst the serene surroundings of the San Dieguito Lagoon.

With each pose, we contribute to a community dedicated to conservation, education, and recreation, fostering a deeper connection with the beautiful ecosystem that surrounds us.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner looking to explore the practice, this event is open to all.

The Lineup:

1st Sunday's: Join instructor Mary who will get your blood pumping with a more active practice which can be done with weights or without.

2nd Saturday's: Our experienced instructor Anna will guide you through a series of slow gentle stretches, postures, and breathing exercises to help you relax and reconnect with your body and mind.

3rd Sunday's: Enjoy an energizing flow with Susan who will set you up for a beautiful afternoon by demonstrating a nice mix of the two

Immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere of the Birdwing Open Air Classroom, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. Leave your worries behind as you focus on your breath and find your balance.

NOTE:

Don't forget to bring your own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Water bottles and towels are also recommended to keep you hydrated throughout the session. Please note this practice is outside on the hard rocks/dirt.

Birdwing Open Air Classroom is a short hike East on the Coast to Crest Trail from the San Dieguito Lagoon Staging Area it can be tricky to find. The 2801 Via de la Valle address will tell you to go passed San Andres, DO NOT PASS SAN ANDRES. Turn South on San Andres, the third DIRT ROAD driveway will lead you to the off street parking/staging area.
