How to get there

Calling all Young Land Professionals! Join us the night before the annual MassLand Conference for an evening of pizza, drinks, networking, and discussion in Worcester. Our annual event is a great way to make new friends and connections and enjoy some of what Worcester has to offer while you're in town for the conference.

Last year, we crossed Cook's Pond on a tow pull boat to a rustic clubhouse where we heard from Colin Novick about his journey at the Greater Worcester Land Trust. This year, our host is Sanctuary Director Deb Cary at Mass Audubon's Broad Meadow Brook Sanctuary. Hear from Deb about her journey as a conservation professional and learn about the sanctuary on a sunset tour. Afterwards, all are welcome to join us at the lounge at AC Hotel Worcester for drinks and networking.

Who are the YLP?

Young Land Professionals are anyone in their first 10 years of working in land conservation in Massachusetts. An organizing committee of 10 members formed in 2017 to create and promote networking and training opportunities for YLP's across the state.

What's Next?
