Yin-Yang: Shift Perception with Tai-Chi

Look not with your eyes. Join Catalyst Conversations at the Boston Public Art Triennial at the Charlestown Navy Yard Lot Lab on Friday, June 13th at 7pm for a unique experience combining art, breath, and movement. We'll "see" sculptures with our bodies by incorporating movement to perceive in new ways.

Tai-Chi Master Peter Wayne, PhD., Harvard Medical School professor and Founder of Tree of Life Tai-Chi Center will lead the group in a sunset tai-chi practice inspired by the artworks at the waterfront site. We will explore the art and science of mindfulness and wellness. Wear comfortable walking shoes and loose clothing.

Featuring Boston Public Art Triennial artworks “Nomad II” by Beatriz Cortez, and works by Boston artists Andy Li “Today is the Day,” Alison Croney Moses “This Moment for Joy,” and Evelyn Rydz “Convergence: Porous Futures.”

Reception to follow. Free to attend but reservations are required.
