Do I drop off my child for the event?

This is a family friendly event so parents should stay and watch their children explore and learn with the fun STEAM activities that we have for the event!

What are the activities?

Accepted Answer

There are 5 YES! stations! The 2025 Explorers Challenge included making your own foam engraving, zoetrope animation, circuit bugs, kaleidoscopes, and bow and arrow while learning about the science behind your creations! Check back closer to the event for the updated science activities!

Question 3

The suggested ages say 5-12, is this strictly enforced?

Accepted Answer

While this is the target age range that the activities were designed, you know your children best! Maybe they are more advanced and are ready for a challenge or an older kid who still loves all things science! We trust your judgement on if you feel it is right for your child!

Question 4

Can I bring along a younger sibling?

Accepted Answer

Please do! Although they may not be ready for the designated YES! activities, we also have 5 of our nonprofit partners attending who will have activities for younger kids at no charge! And everyone enjoys getting out to the park, listening to music, and having fun!

Question 5

Will there be food  at the event?

Accepted Answer

We will not have meal items but there will be small snacks and beverages for purchase at our snack and beverage table. All purchases will go directly to YES! and our STEAM programs!
