Yellow Envelope Rollout and Community Training Symposium

By CT CWCSEO

Overview

Come learn about the yellow envelope program, and how it can help individuals with disabilities during interactions with first responders!

Come join the Connecticut Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity, and the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles, and a variety of partnering organizations, including the Council on Developmental Disabilities, as we introduce the Yellow Envelope Program, created to support individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities. This event will be held on Wednesday, January 14 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, in hearing room 1A at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, CT.

Together, we will discuss the Blue, Green, and Yellow Envelope Programs. We will learn about the communities they serve, and discuss how each program can assist individuals during interactions with first responders. We will hear directly from experts on each program, but also directly from the indivduals that these programs assist.

In addition to light refreshments, yellow envelopes, yellow envleope program bracelets, and window decals will be provided free of charge at the event.
