BMMA (BrahmaNa Mahasabha of North America ) will be conducting the Yajur Upakarma (Avani Avittam) function on Friday Aug 8th 2025 from 7-8am at the Sri Gita Mandir , 424 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA.Those interested in performing the Upakarma are requested to promptly assemble at 7 am.

Please bring your own Panchapatram and plate. Poonal (sacred thread) , Pavithram, water etc will be provided.

No homam (havan) will be done at the facility.

The suggested donation is $30.
