Welcome to Y-12 Trunk or Treat!

Come join us for a spooktacular evening filled with treats, games, and fun costumes at New Hope Center. Get ready to show off your coolest costume and collect tons of candy from our creatively decorated car trunks. Children are encouraged to bring their own candy collection bags. It's a safe and festive way to celebrate Halloween with your family. Don't miss out on this exciting event - mark your calendar now!

TICKET INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Tickets are free to all Y-12, CNS, UPF, and APMO employees.
  2. Employees register for only ONE ticket per family.
  3. Each ticket represents a parked vehicle. The event will have 500 tickets.
  4. We are planning for 2000+ attendees at the event.
  5. Site badges are not required to be displayed during this event.

VEHICLES

  1. One vehicle per employee permitted.
  2. The employee must vouch for all family members and guests in their vehicle.
  3. The employee must attest that their attendees are US Citizens.

COSTUMES

  1. Costumes must be family friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent.
  2. Costumes may not contain any props or accessories that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon (i.e., gun or knife).
  3. Masks and face painting will be permitted. However, if Protective Force and/or event staff ask you to remove your face covering, you must do so.

PROHIBITED AND CONTROLLED ARTICLES

Prohibited articles are not permitted on the Y-12 site and are not allowed to be stored in personally owned or government owned vehicles while those vehicles are on the site. Prohibited articles include dangerous weapons, explosives, or other instruments likely to produce substantial injury to persons or property, alcohol, and illegal drugs. This restriction includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Items prohibited by local, state, or federal law
  • Privately owned explosive chemicals or devices
  • Privately owned firearms of any kind including air-powered weapons
  • Privately owned knives with blades that are 2.5 inches or longer
  • Privately owned ammunitions /projectiles (e.g. bullets, rockets, arrows, etc. that could be discharged from a weapon
  • Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia
  • Items that can be used to start fires, excluding personal lighters (Note: Heavy equipment may have up to 10 road flares and personal vehicles may have up to 5 road flares.)
  • Controlled articles are items that are allowed on site but are restricted from use in certain areas.
  • Controlled articles may require approval prior to being brought on-site.

PERSONAL CELL PHONES

Personal cell phones may be used for photography inside and outside of New Hope Center during the Trunk or Treat time frame.

EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Y-12 Photography and Videography will also be in attendance to take photos and videos of the event. Event-goers are responsible for maintaining the privacy of their children, should they wish for their child to be excluded from pictures/videos taken by Y-12.
