Join us in advancing women in transportation! We’re holding the inaugural event at Three Magnets Brewing for our WTS members in the South Sound. We’ll kick off the evening with an overview of transportation highlights from the 2025 state legislative session with a panel of accomplished leaders.


General Information

Pricing (attendance is limited to 50 people)

  • General admission: $25
  • Students, DBEs, WMBEs and public agencies: $15

Food and Drink

Attendees will be provided light snacks and one beverage ticket.


Agenda

Check-in: 4:00 – 4:30 p.m.

Networking begins at 4:00 p.m.

Legislative Wrap-up Panel Discussion: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Barb Chamberlain (WSDOT's Active Transportation Division Director). Panelists will include:

  • Megan Cotton: Senior Transportation Policy Advisor for Gov. Bob Ferguson
  • Kristina Walker: Tacoma City Council Member and Chair, Pierce Transit Board of Commissioners
  • Jane Wall: Executive Director, County Road Administration Board

An audience Q&A will take place after the panel discussion.

Networking: 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.

We’ll plan to wrap up the Q&A by 5:30pm to allow for more networking time.
