WTS-LA:Tariffs and Force Majeure: Navigating Risk in Construction Contracts

The United States and many other countries have recently revisited existing trade structures in response to executive orders, resulting in new tariffs with wide ranging impacts. While these measures affect numerous industries, construction projects face unique uncertainties across the entire contract life cycle, from procurement to completion. To manage these risks, all project participants, including owners, contractors, and designers, must proactively address tariff treatment in contracts to ensure expectations are clear on all sides.

This webinar will review lessons learned from past tariff changes and share best practices for drafting force majeure, material escalation, and other key contract provisions to help stakeholders structure construction agreements more effectively.
