WTF is Happening With Food
Overview
Be Fed. Be Heard.
Exploring What Feeds Us, as individuals and as a community
You’re welcome to bring something to contribute, but if you can’t, please come anyway.
Come be fed, be heard, and be nourished by your community.
Ways to Participate (if you’re able):
- Bring spare cash to support local food pantries
- Contribute a “Dollar Tree Dinner,”
Print a simple recipe, buy the ingredients, place them in a plastic bag, and share it with a community member who needs it - Bring a food item to share (optional), but not required
We want this to be accessible for everyone.
What to Bring (optional — we’ll have extras):
- A soup bowl
- A spoon
- A to-go container (to help us stay sustainable, and so everyone can take food home)
What to Expect:
- A warm meal shared
- A casual space to reflect on what it means to be nourished
- Listening circles where everyone’s voice matters
- Art-based reflection activities
- Local organizations offering resources, education, and community action steps
- Guests leaving with leftovers or a take-home meal
Community members experiencing food insecurity will be prioritized.
Why RSVP?
Your RSVP helps us prepare enough food and ensures we can welcome everyone with care.
