Overview:Join us for Sowing Stories: Memory in the Soil, a sensory writing and storytelling workshop guided by Ceiba Arbor member Iiritu. Rooted in ancestral wisdom, herbal practice, and creative reflection, this gathering invites participants to explore the memories held in land, food, and body.

Together, we’ll sip grounding tea, touch and plant herbs, and share stories in an intentional space that honors memory as a source of healing and collective knowledge.

Participants will be led through: A writing process that unfolds personal narratives—through scent, texture, and recollection—while planting seeds to take home as reminders of their storywork. The session will also include voice recording and documentation. Iiritu will be creating a short visual archive from the stories offered by participants, honoring each as a vital thread in our shared memoryscape.
