Light Up Your Book

A 12-Week Nonfiction Writing Workshop at ASHHO Cultural Community CenterWednesdays at 6:30 PM | July 2 – September 24, 2025

Attend the free Information Session on June 25 at 6:30 PM

Maybe you've been sitting on a book idea for years. Or maybe the call to write hit you out of nowhere—loud, urgent, and a little overwhelming. Either way, if you’re here, I know one thing already: you’ve got something important to say.

Come join us for a 12-week, community-centered writing experience designed for nonfiction storytellers of all kinds. Whether you're working on a memoir, a self-help book, a personal development guide, or something that breaks the mold entirely—if you're ready to make an impact with your story, this is your moment.

We’ll meet every Wednesday at 6:30 PM from July 2 through September 24 at the ASHHO Cultural Community Center, where we’ll gather in a supportive, writer-friendly space to get your book out of your head and onto the page.

🎓 What You’ll Learn

This course follows the core ideas from Write Your Book in No Time and breaks the process into clear, manageable steps. You’ll learn how to:

  • Organize your ideas into a powerful, readable structure
  • Find your authentic voice and write with clarity and confidence
  • Overcome fear, perfectionism, and writer’s block
  • Build momentum and develop a sustainable writing rhythm
  • Revise with intention and prepare for what comes next

📝 By the End of the Workshop...

  • A complete or near-complete first draft
  • A repeatable writing process you can use again and again
  • Feedback and community support from fellow writers
  • A clear understanding of your publishing options
