About this event
Join AHP Word Artist-in-Residence Dylan Klempner for “Writing with Others,” a weekly writing workshop via Zoom for 8 weeks.
“Every person is a writer…”
Writers will be encouraged to explore various forms such as nonfiction, poetry, memoir, and fiction in a safe and supportive environment using the Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) method.
The workshop is inspired by the work of Pat Schneider, founder of AWA, who describes the method she developed in her book, Writing Alone and With Others. She writes, “Every person is a writer, and every writer deserves a safe environment in which to experiment, learn, and develop craft.”
During each session, we will focus on creating new work and on providing positive feedback for the other writers in the group.
Who is this class for?
This class is ideal for writers at any stage of their writing journey, from beginners to advanced, including those who may have never taken a creative writing class before.
