Writing Toward Liberation: IMU Fundraiser

Gift yourself this holiday season! Find joy and community as you pause and exhale. Join our annual workshop to reflect on the year, guided by your heart and mind. We will leave the workshop more grounded, relaxed and supported on this human journey!

Recommended supplies for the workshop:

• Pen & Paper (If accessible, writing by hand activates us differently than writing on the computer.)
• Beverage of your choice! (suggestion for water or tea)
• Tissues on hand (just in case!)

In this workshop you will have the opportunity to slow down, and using writing prompts, reflect on the last year and dream forward in a non judgmental and welcoming space.

This workshop is a benefit for Inspiring Multicultural Understanding, I M U. Your contributions will make it possible for youth from around the world to step into their leadership. • If you are comfortably meeting your basic needs: $50-200

About the Facilitator:

Vlada Teper is a teacher, writer and coach. Her essays have been featured in Newsweek and KQED. Her poetry has appeared in the Oberon Poetry Magazine and TulipTree Review, among others. With MAs in English and Education from Stanford University, Vlada is the recipient of the 826 Valencia Teacher of the Month Award, and the founder of I M U, Inspiring Multicultural Understanding, a multicultural leadership program for recent immigrant youth.
